At Wantirna Primary School, we are very proud of our journey to become a sustainable school. We are identifying ways in which to better support our environment. We have been researching ways to reduce our waste of energy and implement more resourceful practices in our everyday life.
We are continuing to develop our veggie garden and sharing our produce with our communities each Friday morning.
During our Inquiry units we have researched problems with water wastage at our school and we have also done an energy usage audit.
Through our science units we have been learning more about how plants develop and the best way to support their growth. We are working through the ResourceSmart schools program and you will soon find our blog about our journey there too.
