Wantirna Primary is a “small school with BIG results” and is known to promote educational opportunity, excellence and tolerance in an exciting learning environment that has been recognised and celebrated by experts as being better able to adapt to the needs of students.
As we are a smaller school we offer more opportunities for student participation, such as a program of leadership through all levels of the school. Our unique Junior Learning and Senior Learning Unit class structure further allows teachers to better cater for individual learning styles and personalities.
We offer an extensive program covering all areas of the curriculum:

- Visual Arts
- Performing Arts
- Cultural Studies
With wellbeing a school priority, all students have access to the School Chaplain 2 days per week, as well as identified children having “KidsHope” mentors. Other specialist support staff include a Psychologist and Speech Pathologist.
Due to the expertise of staff, we have a larger than natural proportion of PSD (Program for Students with Disabilities) funded children at Wantirna Primary, with Educational Support staff working alongside teaching staff and students.
